TEDA–Trithylene Diamine

It is also known on the market as 1,4-ethylenepiperazine,1,4-diazabicyclo{2,2,2] octane, Triethylene Diamine. It is frequently marketed under the brand names DETA and DABCO.

What is TEDA?

Triethylenediamine is a catalyst for urethane polymerization. It is a white solid with an odor similar to ammonia. (CAS#: 280-57-9)

What is TEDA used for?

TEDA is a gelling catalyst for urethanes, often diluted in dipropylene glycol or ethyleneglycol. It is mainly used in rigid and semi-rigid foam and in CASE applications.
